Custom Order

Please Read Before Ordering

By placing an order, you accept the factors below, which are a normal part of working with a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece.

1. Not a literal, photorealistic reproduction

Some features may be simplified (for example, long ears or a short face). How closely the piece resembles your pet depends heavily on your pet's own features: dark, distinct markings translate better than light or solid colors, and well-defined, dimensional features translate better than a flat face.

2. Natural variation in materials and firing

Clay and glaze will show some color variation, and small pinholes, hairline cracks, or mineral specks in the glaze can occur — this is a normal part of the handmade, kiln-fired process.

3. Size is approximate

Each piece is hand-built and shrinks slightly during firing, and the rim will not be a perfect circle. Reference dimensions:

Capacity: 100–140ml
Cup body: 8–11cm tall, 8–11cm wide
Width including handle (tail): 13–15cm

4. Turnaround time is not fixed

Base production time is 1–2 months, and may run longer if a piece needs to be remade or is lost in the kiln. We're not able to offer rush service of any kind.

5. After you order

We'll need 3–5 unedited photos of your pet (front, side, and back views, plus close-ups of any distinctive features) — photos only, please, not video files. Let us know in writing about any special requests (such as different-colored eyes or where a marking should appear).

6. We'll check in with you twice before your order ships

Once with photos after the piece is hand-painted, before it goes into the kiln, and again with photos of the finished piece after firing. We move to the next step only after you've confirmed each one.

Returns

A slight tilt or visible hand-forming marks are part of this piece's handmade character and aren't grounds for a return (if a piece has a visible mark, we'll flag it for you before it ships).
